"Carolyn Joy Hunt Vince, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Baker, LA, passed away on June 1, 2018 at the age of 75. She retired from the State of Louisiana Department of Mental Health in 1983, then enjoyed retirement at Toledo Bend Reservoir in Hemphill, TX. She loved spending time with family and friends who knew her as "Sissy" or "Bootsy." She is survived by her children, Lawrence T. Vince, Jr. (Kim), Rusty V. Duck, Bunnie L. Viator (Darrell), and Sonny G. Vince (Brenda); 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence T. Vince, Sr.; parents Elmer and Edna Hunt; siblings, Mary Lee Mhire, David "Chick" Hunt, and Kenneth Dale Hunt. Pallbearers will be Jason Ducote', Patrick Vince, Tommy Vince, Brandon Isaac, Darrell Viator, Jr., and Kameron Langlois. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, from 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
