Carrie Caracci Macalusa

Carrie Caracci Macalusa, age 89, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Carrie was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA and she as been a resident of Lake Sherwood Village Retirement Center for the past eight years. Carrie was retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Macalusa and her parents, Philip and Josephine Caracci. She is survived by her brother Joseph Caracci (wife Stella Caracci); daughters Linda Paille (husband Joe Paille), Rosemary Enlow, Pamela Taylor, and Rosalyn Holland (husband Dwain Holland); and her son Gary Macalusa. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jodi Paille Farrell, Jason Enlow, Joseph Paille, Jennifer Taylor Chick, Michael Enlow, Chad Taylor and Amanda Holland Fleig; and 17 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of Lake Sherwood Village and Willie Mae Selvage for her care in recent years. Pallbearers will be Jason Enlow, Michael Enlow, Joseph Paille, Chad Taylor, Ruark Chick and honorary pallbearer Jacob McGehee. Visitation will be at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., on Thursday, November 19, 2015 10:30-12:30, followed by funeral services at 12:30pm.
