Carrie M. Rosamond passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born in Belle Alliance, LA, and was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Carrie was a stay-at-home mom who cared for and raised her three boys. She loved going dancing, especially at the VFW Hall, and was a social butterfly wherever she went. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She is survived by her sons, George and Rickie Aucoin (Mary); seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Kay Aucoin. Carrie is preceded in death by her two husbands, Marion Aucoin and Alvin Rosamond; son, Marion Aucoin, Jr.; parents, Joseph and Noelie Cavalier; seven siblings; daughter-in-law, Pam Aucoin; and stepchildren, Alvin, Lynn, and Jeannie. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11am until the funeral service at 2pm.
