A homemaker and resident of Central, she died at home on Saturday, April 28, 2012. She was 100 and a native of Covington. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, May 2, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by Barry Lagg. Interment in Roselawn Cemetery. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Heine; parents, Charles Kraemer Diel and Katie Caserta Diel; daughter, Annette Newlin; grandson, Nester Newlin Jr.; sisters, Elsie D. Duhe, Sophie D. Moss, Josie Chaplain and Ethel D. Cook; and brother, Charles W. Diel. Survived by a grandson, Carl Newlin; greatgrandchildren, Travis Harrison and wife Anna, Katie Newlin, Elizabeth Newlin, and Josh Phillips; and great-greatgrandson, Trevor J. Harrison. A courageous, dedicated, kind, loving, giving woman with a great personality was the best way to describe Catherine Heine. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
