Catherine McCaig

Catherine Cummings McCaig passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 84. She greatly loved her family and had a passion for flower gardening. She always enjoyed working in her beautiful yard. She was also a very good cook and prepared many delicious home cooked meals for her family and friends. She greatly enjoyed the love and companionship of her life-long friend, Ronnie Greenwood. She is survived by: Ronnie Greenwood; her daughters and daughter-in-law: Rhonda and Randy Magnolia; Lisa Cross and Kenny Craig; Melinda Rideout and Joe Boncher; and Laura McCaig. She had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Ruby Cummings; her loving husband of 55 years, Rogers E. McCaig, with whom she traveled all over the world; her son, Mark R. McCaig; and two brothers, Leon Cummings and Richard Cummings. Special thanks and gratitude for the special care of Dr. William Varnado and his staff at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and to Clarity Hospice.
