Catherine Frances Strader, native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, surrounded by her family, at the age of 89. She is survived by her loving daughter, Vickie Smith (Ray); grandchildren, Chevy (Amanda), Brittny (Brad), and Danielle (Jason); great-grandchildren, Jase, Isabella, Johnny, and Jaxson; daughter-in-law, Joan Strader; sister, Lorraine Simoneaux; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvadore Anthony Strader, Sr.; son, Salvadore Anthony Strader, Jr.; parents, William Walter and Frances Victoria Marionaux Bennett; and three brothers, Jimmy, Larry, and Billy and special friend, Lionel Hernandez. Catherine, better known as “Cat” or “MoMo”, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, car races, crawfish boils and BBQs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
