Cathy Marie ZitoCathy passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Baton Rouge General-Bluebonnet after a long fight with Multiple Sclerosis. She was 59 and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Cathy is survived by one sister, Donna Ann Kirby and husband Jim Sheppard, Jr.; and a half-brother, Barry Zito; stepmother, Katherine Zito; a niece, Alicia Dawn Kirby; two great nephews, Sammy Brouillette and Mason Levi Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Lillie Mae Zito; grandparents, Clovis and Mary Diez; and stepbrother, Ricky Zito. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. 11000 Florida Blvd., Sunday, January 24, 2016; 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. and again on Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St George Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70809; 10:00 a.m. until mass of christian burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Michael Schatzle. Entombment will follow in St. George Catholic Church Mausoleum.
