Celine Guidry Millet, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Port Allen, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the age of 67. To know Celine was to love her. She and David met when they were 10 years old and have been together for 58 years, creating a family and making beautiful memories. A natural born caretaker, Celine spent 25 years as a career nurse. She loved life, family and fun. Her most favorite family time was spent together during holidays, dying Easter eggs and celebrating Halloween. She adored her seven grandchildren, and cheering them on during their baseball and football games. She brought joy to all she met and her legacy will live on in every life she touched. She is survived by her husband, David Millet; children, Jennie Rounds and husband Mike, Catherine Breaux and husband Todd, and T-boy Millet; and grandchildren, Stephen, Ryan, Jake, Kate, Grant, Amelia, and Allie. She was preceded in death by parents, Stephens Guidry and Leola Hamilton. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge from 10:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Todd Beaux, Grant Breaux, Michael Rounds, Stephen Rounds, Ryan Rounds, and Jake Rounds. The family would like to thank Dr. Jones Samuel, Dr. Stephen Brierre, and Dr. Andrew McWhorter for the extraordinary care they provided to Celine.
