

Chad Louis St.Julien, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the age of 57. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA. on June 7, 1968, to his parents, the late Lynn and Gordan St. Julien. Chad survived by his only brother, Scott St.Julien and was the nephew of Bruce and Nancy Hall. Chad loved spending every second he had with his dog “Chase”.
He spent most of his career as an electrician for Turner Industries before retiring. From an early age, Chad was an avid sailor who sailed extensively on Lake Pontchartrain and along the Gulf Coast. His passion for sail boating began at a very early age in his life which allowed him to grow into becoming a well accomplished skipper, racer, and cruiser. Chad was a mentor and friend to sailors around the lake and across the Gulf. He participated in major events such as the Race to the Coast, Pensacola Race, LPRC, and the Great Lake Race. He was a faithful racer on both the North Shore and South Shore. Chad was always eager to help and mentor new sailors, giving them the opportunities to become the best sailors they could be.
In addition to his sailing pursuits, Chad was an active member of the Pelican Yacht Club, Pontchartrain Yacht Club, and the Corinthian Sailing Association, where he served as secretary at the time of his death. His love for sail boating and his dedication to the sailing community will be greatly missed.
Chad will be remembered as an adventurous and brave individual who lived life to the fullest.
