Chadwick Whatley

Chadwick Garrett Whatley, known to all as Chad, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 42. He was born on September 11, 1981 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to his parents, the late C. Garvin Whatley and Annette C. Whatley.

Chad attended Louisiana State University for his higher education, where he graduated in 2005 with his Bachelors of Science degree.

Chad is survived by his mother, Annette C. Whatley; brother, Chistopher Whatley (Casey), special aunt/godmother, “Pat-Pat” Pat Cannon; grandmother, Margie B. Whatley; nephews, Noah Christopher Whatley and Joseph Glenn Whatley; and aunts, Dennice Hoffman and Delene Rawls.

A visitation for Chad will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM at grace Church of Central, located at 13845 Hooper Rd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70818. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM at the same location. Chad will be laid to rest at Greenoaks Memorial Park, located at 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.
