Charlene Habig Roppolo passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on May 22, 1954, in Vicksburg, MS, and she was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Charlene was a kind and loving person. Upon her retirement on July 12, 2024, she worked for 32 years with Baton Rouge General Hospital ER as Patient Access Coordinator II. Charlene is survived by her siblings, Tina Territo and husband, Joseph, and Charles B. Habig, Jr.; nieces, Lindsey L. Habig, Lacey H. Slaughter and husband, Spencer, and Alyssa R. Habig; nephews, Kevin J. Territo, and Charles “Trey” B. Habig, III, and wife, Makina; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and lastly, her Fur Baby, Lil Rocky. Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Roppolo; parents, Charles and Robertine Habig; sister, Sheila M. Habig; and sister-in-law, Lynda D. Habig. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
