Charles T Clegg

A lifetime resident of Baton Rouge, Chuck passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2015, with his family and caregivers by his side. He graduated from Baton Rouge High in 1969 and attended LSU. He was General Manager of Clegg Concrete, where he began working in High School and operated several nightclubs including Rascals, Dallas and O’Dononues. Preceded in death by his father R.T. “Bobby” Clegg and his brother Robert T. “Bobby” Clegg, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Mae Clegg; his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Holly Clegg of Baton Rouge; his sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Dr. Jim Hill of Boulder, CO; his brother, Cannon Clegg of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express its thanks for the loving care and support Chuck received from St. Joseph’s Hospice, care givers Sharon Butler and Catherine Bell, and friends Donnie and Pam Kogel. A private Memorial Service was held for the family on May 22, 2015 with internment at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
