Charles S. McClure, a resident of Baton Rouge, died at 12:25pm Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Memory Lane at the Cottage. He was 84 and a native of Zachary. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and later retired from the EBRP school system. He was an avid LSU fan. He was survived by his wife, Victoria McClure; daughter, Caprice McClure; sister, Mable Supinger and husband Bob; and brother, Carsie McClure. Preceded in death by his parents, Claborne Baron and Lucinda Heirtzler McClure; sisters, Margrett Delatte, Elsie Boyd, Lucel McClure and Doris McClure; brothers, Thompson McClure, Gordon McClure, Ray McClure, Robert McClure, Winston McClure and Clyde McClure. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 12pm until religious services at 2pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
