Charles B Threatt

Owner of T&T Transport and a resident of Central for over 45 years, passed away at his home on Monday December 10, 2012 at the age of 88. He was greatly loved and respected by many. He was a man with such a big heart and loved to help others. Many that knew him as well as the drivers that worked for him can attest to his generosity and kindness. He will be missed very much by his family and friends. He was a father, grandfather and a great grandfather. He is survived by his two sons; Charles Dale Threatt and wife Paula of Manvel, TX, and Michael B Threatt of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Kimberley Osborne and husband Michael of Alvin, TX, and Eric Threatt and wife Katherine of Alvin, TX; one great grandchild, Elizabeth Threatt of Alvin, TX. And step-daughter Abigail McCullars, and numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins He is preceded in death by his wives, Barbara Threatt and Dorothy Threatt; parents, Madison Burchum and Ida Jewel Swendell Threatt; two brothers, James Travis and Madison Fletcher Threatt. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, and on Wednesday December 19, 2012 from 12pm until service time at 2pm.
