A special-education teacher working with autistic children at Broadmoor Elementary, she died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007. She was 39, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Monday, Oct. 22, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Jake Holland; parents, Bill and Irene Reeves; daughter, Stephanie Carolyn Holland; son, Christopher Joseph Holland; two brothers, Kevin and Chad Reeves; and paternal grandfather, Hollis Reeves. She was a loving and giving person who loved to help others and touched many, many lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.
