

Cheryl "Cherry" Peel Mitchell, beloved mother, grandmother, homemaker, wife, and woman of faith, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Mrs. Mitchell was the devoted wife of the late Phillip J. Mitchell, M.D., and the loving mother of two children Phillip J. Mitchell Jr., Esq. and Amber Mitchell, Esq. Her family was the center of her life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to creating a loving and nurturing environment which included caring for both of her grandchildren Riley and Abbie.
As a homemaker, Cherry found purpose and fulfillment in caring for her family. She gave generously of herself, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unwavering, and the influence of her care and devotion will continue through the generations.
Cherry was a believer in Jesus Christ, and her faith was an important part of her life. She trusted in God’s promises and found comfort in the hope of eternal life through Christ.
Cherry will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle spirit, her devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother and the many quiet ways in which she made the lives of those around her better.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip J. Mitchell, M.D.
She leaves behind her two children, and two grandchildren along with extended family and friends who loved her dearly and will continue to honor her memory.
Although her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with her beloved husband, resting in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
