Christal Henry Brown

Christal was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her beautiful spirit, caring heart, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Whether through her laughter, her wisdom, or her acts of kindness, Christal left an unforgettable mark on the lives of many.

She loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. Her legacy of love, faith, strength, and compassion will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her love will remain with us forever.

Christal leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Keith Brown; children, Cheyunski Henry, Courtney (Roy) Hawkins, and Ke'Shaun Brown; grandchildren, Tyrik, Jaylen, Christian, Taysean, Roy III, and Zylie; great-grandson, Jett; her siblings, Terry (Betty) Henry, Eddie Henry, Leatrice (Cedric) Peyton, Connie (Thomas) Brown, Eula (Charles) Ruffin, and Christopher (Anissa) Henry; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sibling, Carrie Henry.

Her Legacy Lives On. A heart of gold stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Your love, your laughter, your kindness and grace will never be forgotten. You will forever remain in our hearts. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN: "WELL DONE, GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT." MATTHEW 25:21

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815, on May 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
