

Born in Baton Rouge on June 9, 1970, Christi lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to others. She attended Our Lady of Mercy and St. Joseph’s Academy before pursuing her calling in nursing. For more than 35 years, she faithfully served her community as a nurse at Our Lady of the Lake, where she touched countless lives through her kindness, skill, and genuine care for her patients.
Christi was known for her sassy personality, strong opinions, and quick wit. She never hesitated to speak her mind, but beneath that spirited exterior was a heart of incredible generosity. She would do anything for anyone and consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her love, loyalty, and selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christi was such a loving, caring, giving and in her goodness always showed charity towards others.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Wilson Aucoin; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. JD Cambre; and baby brother, Brad William Cambre.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Anne Webre, and her husband, Brandon; her loving parents, Glynn and Patsy Cambre; her brother, Glynn Cambre Jr., and his wife, Kim; her beloved cat, Molly; along with many extended family members, dear friends, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched throughout her nursing career.
Christi’s legacy lives on through the compassion she showed, the lives she cared for, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 8:30am until the funeral service at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
