Psalm 34:18 Christian Marchiafava, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the age of 20. Christian was a graduate of Baton Rouge High school and Our Lady of Mercy. He was a song writer, and poet who was an accomplished musician in guitar and piano. Christian was an artist, and family oriented where time with family was very important. He is survived by his loving parents, Martin and Debbie DeJean Marchiafava; two sisters, Savannah Jules and Sophia Rose; grandmothers, Carole Fitzgerald and Theresa Marchiafava; and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Christian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
