Christine M Gebhart, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Brookhaven, Miss. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and an active member of the Desk and Derrick Club of Baton Rouge. She was retired from Exxon. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, Sept. 9, from noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Tom Duhe. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Christine is survived by three grandchildren, Shane Rauh, Jennifer Murphy and husband Cody, and Kristine Viator; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Rauh and Kade Buhler; a sister, Ann Johnson, of Smithdale, Miss.; her best friend, Rose Donellan; the Salassi family and numerous other family and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her first husband, John Dupuy; husband, Richard Gebhart; daughter, Linda Viator; and 10 siblings.
