Christopher “Chris” Todd Clanton passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the age of 57. He was born in New Orleans, LA, and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Chris was a longtime employee of BASF. He was known for his kindness, quick sense of humor and generosity of spirit. Chris loved his family, and he enjoyed eating burgers with his Father while discussing their love of the Lord. He will be dearly missed. Chris is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Matthew Clanton (Nikki), and Brad Clanton; granddaughter, Emma; father, Larry Clanton; sister, Angela Bigler (Leon); mother-in-law, Carole Moreau (Warren); and a host of family members and friends. Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Alma “Karla” Clanton. A Celebration of Life will be at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 9607 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, (next door to Greenoaks Funeral Home) on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 2pm to 7pm.
