Christopher "Scotty" Scott O’Neal

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Ann”Carbo O’Neal; his godmother, Barbara Thomas “Nanny”; his godfather, Stanley Phillips; aunts Evelyn Phillips, Janet Sagona, Debbie Zimmerle (Jay), Gayle Tate (James), and Mary O’Neal, nephew Jude O’Neal; and many close cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory O’Neal; brother, Steven “Stevie” O’Neal; uncles, Randy Thomas and Mike O’Neal; and grandparents Tony and Rosemary Carbo, and Irving and Doris Valentine.

Scotty was an avid pool player, an enthusiastic LSU sports fan, and a passionate fisherman. He cherished his friends and family, and his circle of loved ones included all those he enjoyed sharing a beer or two with at his regular hangouts. Scotty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Lance Crake, Mike Fernald, Josh Gautreaux, Justin Hebert, Ayden Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Michael Phillips, Greg Rogers, Lyle Townsend & Roger Wilson.

Services will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge LA 70815 on July 3rd, 2025. Visitation will begin at 12pm until 2pm. A service will begin at 2pm.
