Jane was born in Church Point, LA. She attended school in Baton Rouge and spent her entire 49 year career at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Jane loved the fact that she had made doughnuts for several generations of families throughout the Baton Rouge area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus P. Lejeune, Sr. and Mable Meche Lejeune and one brother Rufus P. Lejeune, “Jr.”
She is survived by her sister Dolores McClendon (James), Brother Ashton Lejeune (Leisa), Godchild Tonia Fontenot (Shelby), Nephew Scotty McClendon (Melissa), Nephew Joey Lejeune, Niece Crystal Lejeune, Nephew Jeremy Lejeune, Nephew J.D. Lejeune, Niece Natasha Lejeune and many Great-Nieces and Nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Friday, August 15, 2025, at GreenOaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815
