Claudia Mire Thompson, 83, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016. Claudia was a native of Thibodaux, and a resident of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dale Thompson and her parents, Claude (Lulu) Mire and Rosalie Picou Mire and her brother Fred Mire. Prior to retiring to Diamondhead, MS, Claudia and Dale worked side by side as owners of Dale’s Pharmacy in Baton Rouge where they raised their seven children. Claudia is survived by a sister Rosalie Mire Abadie; her children Elizabeth Thompson, Ben Thompson, Steve Thompson and wife Angee, Janet Thompson Hale and husband Kelley, Brad Thompson and wife Lisa, John Thompson, and Amy Thompson Felton and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Trey Ducote, Tara Boudreaux, Rebecca Boudreaux McLawchlin and husband Steven, Robert “Jamie” Boudreaux and wife Leslie, Taylor Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Rachel Thompson LeBlanc and husband Gabe, Stevie Thompson, Ross Thompson, Michelle Anderson Thompson and husband Phillip, Claudia Elyse Anderson, Spencer Thompson, Benjamin Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Hollie Thompson, Bennett Felton, and Brett Felton; and great-grandchildren, Kamryn Ducote, Beau McLawchlin, Ava Boudreaux, and Avery Boudreaux. Visitation will be at St. Jude Catholic Church on Friday, April 1st at 11:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
