

Clyde Edgar Kelley a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Denham Springs, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 29, 2018 at 11:30 pm at the age of 81. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend - his family meant the world to him. He loved being a firefighter and was retired from the Baton Rouge Fire Department as District Chief.
He was preceded in death by parents Guy and Beulah Stevens Kelley, sisters: Jewell Duplessis, Joyce Gilmore, Carolyn Pratt, & Faye Plaisance.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Thelma Forrest Kelley, daughters Cindy Kelley Hudnall (Roger) of Denham Springs & Tammy Kelley Dearie (Skip) of Prairieville, Grandchildren: Tiffany Hudnall Prather (Brad)-Baton Rouge, Derek Hudnall (Anya) - Central, Brittany Hudnall - Lafayette, Nicholas Saale (Rebekah) - Ponchatoula, Zachary Saale (Hope), and Austin Saale (Andrea). Great-grandchildren: Braxton, Mia, Graham, Ty, Tate, Ainsley, Payton, Conner, Cohen, & Carter. Brothers: Dale (Sylvia), Ben (Mary) & Sister: Glenda Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend: RJ Leggio
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, August 31 from 5 pm - 8 pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 1 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
