Corey Edward Des Marteau, a native of Tampa, FL, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on March 13, 2021 at the age of 21. He loved fishing with his cousins and grandfather and enjoyed playing football and watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sundays with his Pop. Corey loved animals, especially dogs, and when he wasn’t working at Camp Bow Wow, he was spending time with his two younger sisters playing video games and listening to his favorite music group, the Gorillaz. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Little Eddie, his grandfather, Edward “Frenchy” Des Marteau, and his uncle and namesake, Corey James St. Jacques. He is survived by his parents, Jaime and Edward Des Marteau, his two sisters, Aspyne and Brielle Des Marteau, his grandparents, Kathy and Butch St. Jacques, among many more family and friends. A private ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in honor of Corey to the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation to help further care for the animals he loved so much.
