Cristin Forbes Ponjuan passed away on September 12, 2022. Cristin was born on May 13, 1975 in Baton Rouge, LA to Marion Hogan Forbes and the late Walker Young Forbes. She is a graduate of Baton Rouge Magnet High School and earned a B.A. in Theatre at LSU. She is survived by her children, Noah Ponjuan, Hayden Ponjuan, and Dawson Ponjuan. She is also survived by her mother, Marion Forbes, a brother, Clayton Forbes, a sister-in-law, Erin Forbes, her nieces Elliot Forbes, Keaton Forbes, and Cori Floyd. As well as two nephews Evan Floyd and Davis Ponjuan, her former husband, Jorge Ponjuan, and numerous friends and cousins. Cristin was an actress, director, storyteller, and theatre educator. She had a particular passion for supporting local theatre programs, and educational theatre. She truly enjoyed all forms of artistic expression. Cristin cherished time spent laughing with friends and family. A celebration of Cristin's life will be held on Thursday, September 29, from 6 to 8 pm inside the Hartley/Vey Studio at the Manship Theatre (100 Lafayette Street, BR). All are welcome to stop by and visit and to share stories and memories.
