Curtis K Stafford Jr (“Kaywald”), 78 years old of Baton Rouge, LA passed away. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Bonny Bridges Stafford, daughter Kimberly Kennedy, daughter Paige Lohman and husband Glen, and son Zack Stafford and wife Kristin, 8 grandchildren, Murphy, Cecile and Rose Johnson, Sam and Susannah Lohman, Nelson, Emerson, and Ryland Stafford, and two sisters, Nancy Tew, and Susan Thompson. Preceding him in death were his parents Curtis K Stafford and Margaret B. Stafford and his daughter Kendall B. Stafford.
Kaywald was born and raised in Baton Rouge and met Bonny Bridges at LSU. They wed in 1964. He went on to graduate from LSU Law School in 1968 beginning what would be a long, successful law career.
Anyone that knew Kaywald understood the depth of his kindness and strength. There was no one that he was unwilling to help and often provided legal services for free to those in need. He was a loyal and dedicated attorney to all who had the pleasure to work with him.
Kaywald was passionate about sports, specifically LSU football and baseball. He loved to fish and hunt, was an avid movie collector, enjoyed fine cuisine and spirits, and never missed a chance to travel with Bonny. He lived life to its fullest and will forever be missed.
