Dalmae H. Tucker

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she was a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Jeanerette, La, she passed away Sunday November 10, 2013. Dalmae was a founding member of the Herb Society of America, Baton Rouge Unit, she was honored by the National Herb Society of America, and she was a strong supporter of the Baton Rouge Unit. Visitation will be Wednesday November 13, 2013 from 5pm till 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday November 14 at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Dalmae is survived by her daughter Carole Champion, and husband John, three sons William P. Tucker Jr. and his wife Karoline, Steven Lee Tucker and his wife Marilyn, and John Anthony Tucker and wife Brenda, sister Marie Hebert Poole, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Octave and Eunice Hebert, husband William P. Tucker Sr. "Billy", two brothers, two sisters and two great-grandchildren Donna, and Hannah.
