Dan D Davis

Mr. Dan Delery Davis, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on April 25, 2022. Mr. Dan was born March 7, 1940 to parents, Powell W. Davis and Lula Davis. He is a graduate from Istrouma High, class of 1958, and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He retired from Union 198 as a pipefitter, and he enjoyed sports, especially LSU.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra A. Davis; sons, Dan Davis Jr (Kristen) and Shane Davis (Heather); grandchildren, Avory Roberts (Dean), Tate Davis, Bradon Davis, Alison Davis, and Ansley Davis; and great-grandson, Easton Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Powell W. Davis; brothers, Roy P. Davis and Richmond C. “Buddy” Davis.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 8:30am until service time of 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
