Mr. Collins served in the National Guard Reserves for many years and worked as a Lab Technician for Georgia Gulf and for Axial, for over 40 years. He loved fishing, raising bees and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred “Bill” and Joyce Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Collins; daughter, Jacqueline Norris; brother, Marshall Collins and his wife, Mickey; nephew, Phillip Collins and numerous other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm Friday, April 28, 2023 at Greenoaks Funeral Home-9595 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to one’s favorite charity.
