Dana was a retired employee of UPS, with twenty years of service. She was a native of Forrest City, Arkansas and a resident of Gonzales. Dana died of breast cancer at 7:00pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at The Carpenter House. She was 56. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East,Saturday from 4:00pm until the Memorial Service in the chapel at 6:00pm, conducted by Rev. Alice Martin. Dana was survived by her daughter: Brandy Kimbrell&husband Jonathan and children, Laurie, Katie and Maddie; son: Blane Protz and daughter, McKenley; sister: Jackie Vernon; brothers: Tommy Oliver&wife Theresa, Jody Oliver&wife Rhonda. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wallace&Louise Hollowell Oliver; her brother: Larry Oliver; and brother-in-law: Doug Vernon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital of Memphis, TN.
