

Darrell Joseph Rabalais, age 70, passed away on June 28, 2026. Darrell was a faithful member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and was actively involved with the Knights of Columbus and the Men’s Club of St. Alphonsus.
Born in Cottonport, Louisiana, Darrell was the son of John Hubert and Telsie Guillory Rabalais. He was the twin brother of Darlene Rabalais and is also the sibling of: Edwards Rabalais (Deceased) and his wife, Sherry, of Pineville, Louisiana; John Rabalais and his wife, Sharon, of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana; Kathleen Rabalais (Deceased); Susan Harris of Pride, Louisiana; and Wayne Rabalais and his wife, Cynthia, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Darrell was also the uncle to numerous nieces and nephews
In his early career, Darrell worked in plant operations at refineries in the Baton Rouge area. Following in his father’s footsteps, he later became an owner and entrepreneur of a meat market. Darrell was in his element preparing and cooking foods for his customers and for the families of Greenwell Springs, offering his time and talents in a way that brought people together through the comfort of a well-prepared meal.
One of Darrell’s greatest joys in life was his grandchildren and his family. He is survived by his spouse, Linda Mitchell Rabalais of Greenwell Springs; his son, Grant Mitchell Rabalais; his daughter and son-in-law, Maggie and Matt Raborn; and his grandchildren, Avery Jane Raborn and Nolan Lee Raborn.
Honorary pallbearers are Rocky Riche', Toby Rabalais, Mark Rabalais, Michael Harris, Adam Rabalais, Darrell Guidroz, Tanner Guidroz, Tate Guidroz, and Larry Rabalais.

Relatives and friends are invited to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for a visitation on Thursday, July 2, 2026, beginning at 10:00AM until the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:30.
