Ray Johnson, a native of Monroeville, Ala., and a resident of Walker, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at age 83. Mr. Johnson was a car salesman for many years at Polk Chevrolet and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. He is survived by a sister, Joy Johnson Graham and husband Clark G. Graham; two nieces, Jackie M. Comeaux and husband Darrel, and Gwen Young Dean; and three nephews, Steven C. Graham and wife Heather, Chris L. Meisner and wife Bertha, and Terry G. Young. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Noble Johnson; parents, Elizabeth J. Spann and Walter W. Johnson; brother, B.A. Johnson; and four sisters, Maye Millsap, Juanita Johnson, Glenda Young and Mary Meisner.
