David Kirk Guidry

David Kirk Guidry passed away in New Orleans, LA on January 13, 2023 at the age of 70. He was born to Curtis and Lorita Guidry on December 15, 1952 in Oberlin, LA. He was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge,LA. Growing up on a rice farm in the community of Soileau, he loved the outdoors, hunting, and visiting the state of Colorado. David always knew how to make everyone laugh. David worked as a land man in the oilfield industry. David had an ear for good music and was quite a dancer. He also enjoyed cooking and telling others that their cooking was “too darn dry.” His earthly battles are over, and he is now rejoicing in the hands of our Heavenly Father. He is survived by his five children, Kirk, Summer, Brian, Seth, and Mason; his five siblings, Mark, Patrick, Kent, Jennifer, and Rachel; his five grandchildren, Savannah, Hudson, Ryland, and soon to be grandchild; and one great grandson, William.
