David T Harvey Jr.

Dave graduated from Suwannee Military Academy, Suwannee, TN, and Louisiana State University, Engineering. After graduation he worked with Naval Sea Systems Command, Interior Communications in Washington Dc. He retired in 1989 as the first civilian to receive their newly created Award for Excellence.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy Palmer; a beloved niece Jeanne James (David), a great niece Sara J. Svendson (Wade), and two great Nephews William and Carter James. He was preceded in death by his dear sister Jean Harvey Curet (Louis), a beloved nephew David James, jr. and his father David T.Harvey Sr. and Mother Jeanne Medevielle.

Burial was September 13th Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a graveside service conducted by Rev. Meredith Barber, The Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge. There will be a Celebration of David’s life 11:00am Saturday, November 1st, First Unitarian Church of Orlando.
