Mr. Norwood, I grew up with Mary Brent and spent many hours at your home.  I am so sorry to hear about your dad.  Your family is in my prayers.

I WAS VERY SAD TO READ IN THE ADVOCATE THAT MR. NORWOOD PASSED AWAY. HE WAS A TRUE SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN.  I MET HIM WHILE TAKING CARE OF MY UNCLE, HENRY AT ST JAMES.  MR. NORWOOD LOVED TOBASCO SAUCE AND MY SON WOULD BRING HIM A FEW BOTTLES FROM LAFAYETTE.  HE WAS ALWAYS GLAD TO GET THEM.  YOUR FAMILY HAS LOST AN ICON.  MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH HIS FAMILY.
