David Mark Weimer

David is survived by his children, Brandy Michelle Schafer (Michael), Laura Mistretta, and Kara Elle Galardo, Mayson Landry; grandchildren, Patrick and Lucas Schafer, Caleb Rackley, and Logan Phillips; brothers, Randy Weimer (Margaret Conrad), George Weimer (Shelia), and Kenneth Weimer; sister-in-law, Sharon Weimer; “adopted” family, Floyd and Sandra DeMars; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

David is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Sheila R. Weimer; parents, George W. Weimer, Jr. and Coralee M. Weimer; brother, Denis J. Weimer, Sr.; grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 11am until the funeral service at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Michael and Lucas Schafer, Caleb Rackley, Logan Phillips, Tony, M.L., Keith, and Gerald DeMars. Honorary pallbearers are Patrick Schafer, Randy, Kenny, and George Weimer, and Floyd DeMars.
