"Dolores Jean Burnett died at her home in St. Francisville on January 15, 2018, at the age of 87. She retired from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry after 40 years. She was a former Red Hat Lady, enjoyed traveling and gardening, and had a great care for animals. She is survived by her niece, Nikki Davis-Voight and husband David Voight, as well as many loving cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Mims; a sister, Thelma Davis; niece, Mary Ann Davis; and nephews: John Davis and Robin Davis. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
