Dennis Francis Holland, of Denham Springs, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009. On this day, we lost our husband, our father and our friend. Dennis is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharon Holland; two daughters, Sabrina Simms, of Baton Rouge, and Carla Angel, of Denham Springs. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Zoe Simms, Shaun Alleman, Kristy Morris and Zachary Duke. Dennis served his country in the Army as a sergeant (E5) with the military police during the Vietnam War. We will always remember his smile and his unconditional love. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Tuesday, Nov. 3, was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside service Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Port Hudson National Cemetery.
