Dollie Singleton

Dollie Smith Singleton, passed away on October 31, 2023 in her home, at age 103. She was born October 6, 1920 in Gonzales, LA to Dr. Robert McClay and Carrie Kea Smith. Dollie retired from Exxon Mobil in 1983 after 38 ½ years of service. She was a resident of Baker for 44 years and a resident of Baton Rouge for 20 years. Dollie will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Singleton and wife Jo; Christopher Singleton and wife Trish; Ross Singleton; grandchildren, Hilary Singleton Mckey and husband Joe Mckey; Alan Singleton; Rebekah Hernandez and husband Eric; Thomas Singleton and wife Paulina; Lauren Singleton; Jessica Gupta and husband Rupak; Great Grandchildren, Cameron and Alana Gomez; Absolem Singleton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dollie is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Tom Angus Singleton; sister, Brunhilde Smith Mongiello and husband Michael; brothers, Velpeau Smith and wife Gertrude; Byron Smith; Funston Smith ; sister-in-law, Anna Bess Singleton McPheeters and husband John; brother-in-law Dr. Allen Richard (Chick) Singleton and wife Jean

Relatives and friends are invited to the Chapel at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Baton Rouge, LA 70802, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 for a visitation beginning at 1:00PM until the memorial service beginning at 3:30PM.
