Dolores was a homemaker, a native of Ft. Worth, Texas and a resident of Baton Rouge. She died at 9:02 a.m. Friday, June 08, 2012, at her residence. Dolores was 84. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a recitation of the rosary. Visitation will resume Monday at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter: Maria Betancourt; her sons: Julio, Richard and Bob Betancourt; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband: Julio Betancourt; daughter: Nena Capers; and her son: Jimmy Betancourt. Pallbearers will be Richard Betancourt, Taylor Capers, Bobby Betancourt, Nicholas Yuratich, Bob Betancourt and Julio Betancourt. Honorary pallbearers are Edwin Lewis, David McClendon, Frank Harvey, James Hicks and Jaime Betancourt. She was a member of T.O.P.S.
