Dolores Bergeron Bonfanti

Dolores Bergeron Bonfanti passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at the age of 91. Dolores enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She was the utmost hostess. She traveled extensively throughout her life. She enjoyed going to the beach. She was an avid reader who loved mysteries. She loved working in her yard. She was a founding member of St. Louis king of France, Catholic Church where she remains active through their alter society advisory group. She is survived by her children, Virginia Bonfanti Blacklock (Jack), Stephen Christopher Bonfanti (Susan), and Elizabeth Bonfanti Curtis, MD (Andrew); four grandchildren, Stephanie Bonfanti Verbovskiy, Christina Bonfanti, Benjamin Curtis, and Matthew Curtis; one great grandchild, Tristian Blacklock; and her sister, Elizabeth Bergeron. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents Odette and Arthur Bergeron; brother, Gerald Bergeron; and grandson, Jeremy Blacklock. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 10am-11am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11am 11441 Goodwood Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
