Dolores H. LaPlace

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Mrs. Dolores H. LaPlace on May 11, 2023 at the age of 92. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Culberson (Myron), Suzanne Landry (Bobby), Melanie Spedale (Darian); sons, Carl LaPlace, Jr. (Bronwyn), Steve LaPlace, Tim LaPlace (Debbie); grandchildren, Aimee, Jenee, Madeleine, Chase, Claire, Patrick, Gregory, Gabriel, Stacy, Rebecca, Robert, Courtney, Megan, Sarah, Candace; 34 great-grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Corman Hebert and Jerline Hebert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl James LaPlace, Sr.; parents, Leslie Hebert, Sr. and Claire Becnel Hebert; grandchildren, Clark Culberson, Jared LaPlace and brothers, Leslie Hebert and Cecil Hebert. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dolores’ name to St. Gabriel Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org). Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
