Donald Wayne “Pork Chop” Lamana, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Walker, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 69. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard and was a retired salesman for Manda Fine Meats. He was first and foremost a family man, who enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play sports. He was also a huge LSU fan and was an award-winning jambalaya cook. He was a perpetual jokester who enjoyed nicknames and picking with his friends and family members. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lamana of Walker; a son, Donald J. Lamana of Tunica, LA; and three daughters: Jody Lamana Villneuve and husband Charlie of Denham Springs, Ashlee Lamana Bishop and husband Joey of Walker, and Mandi Lamana Waters and husband Colby of Denham Springs. He is also survived by grandchildren: Karleigh Villneuve, Braxton Villneuve, Alyssa Feduccia, Kaylie Lamana, Brody Bishop, Aubree Bishop, and Harper Bishop; brothers: John Lamana and wife Barb, Daryl Lamana, Keith Lamana and wife Amie Lamana; and “grandpups”: Teddi Bear Bishop, Finley Waters, and Babette Villneuve. He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Joseph Lamana; his mother, Catherine Cali Lamana; and a brother, Randy Dale Lamana. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Boulevard, on Friday evening, January 21, from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9am until service at 11am, conducted by Fred Armand. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be: John Lamana, Jr., Samuel Lamana, Morris Lamana, David Lamana, Randy Lavergne, and Bobby Behrnes. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to purchase a memorial brick at Mike the Tiger’s cage at LSU. Please contact a family member for details.
