Psalm 18: 1-2. Our beautiful young man was called by God to be with him Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Chase had a zest for life and loved his family and friends. We were blessed to have him for 24 years and he touched so many people in this time. He was recently enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was prepared to serve his country. He loved to hunt, spend time with friends and family and loved his dog, Toby. He graduated from Redemptorist High School, where he was so proud to be a Wolf. He also attended LSU. He is survived by his mother, Tara Hebert and Kenneth Melancon; father, Donnie Jarreau, and stepmother, Vicky Jarreau; sisters, Lindsey Hebert, Ally Hebert, Carlie Hebert, Jessie Hebert, Avery Jarreau and Ainsley Jarreau; baby brother, Eason Jarreau; grandparents, Dale and Suzanne Adams, Linda and Buren Babin, Donald Jarreau Sr. and Virginia Cottongin; uncles and aunts, Karyn and Matt Baily, Derrick Jarreau, Debbie and James Gillen and Dale Cottongin; cousins, Abbygail Liberto, Zach Liberto, William Baily, Reese Baily, Taylor Jarreau and Ben Jarreau; stepfather, Charlie Hebert; and his heart, Jessie Heroman. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Dale Adams. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, was on Monday, Jan. 26, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., followed by burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jay Danburg, Taylor Russell, Matt Welbourn, Luke Lowe, John Hamner, Travis Bonfanti, Taylor Jarreau and Derrick Jarreau.
