A registered nurse who was retired from Baton Rouge General Medical Center, she died Friday afternoon, July 27, 2007, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 83, a native of Portland, Ore., and a resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Damuth V. Bogan; a daughter, Cheryl B. Beckham and husband, A.J.; two sons, Terry D. Bogan and wife Roakie of Ashville, N.C., and Kim V. Bogan and wife Debbie of Houston; a brother, Jack Wendell of California; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements through Rabenhorst Funeral Home East.
