A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Woodville, MS, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012, at her sister’s home. She was 63 years old. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on Saturday, August 25, 2012, from 11 AM until service at 12 PM conducted by Supt. Adam Edwards. Interment will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery in Woodville, MS. She is survived by four sisters, Lumerda Byrd, Angelene Davis, Ceola Newman, and Frances Porter; one brother, Secro Mannis Jackson; special loved one, Portia Payne; and valued friend, Bobby. She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Jackson; parents, Sarah and Morris Jackson, Sr.; sister, Everline J. Mars; and five brothers, Sinclair, Elijah, Morris Jr, William, and Leroy Jackson.
