Fabre, Doris Spillman "Nan"Doris retired as bookkeeper from Letterman's Blueprint. She was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Greenwell Springs. Doris died at 11:10pm Friday, July 17, 2015 in Baton Rouge. She was 89. Visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Tuesday from 10:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Doris is survived by her daughter: Paula Brignac&husband Jeff; three sons: Jerry Fabre&wife Linda, Tommy Fabre&wife Marlene, and John Fabre&wife Barbie; two sisters: Lois Nettles and Peggy LaFleur; grandchildren: Katie Brignac Ferriss, Kodi Steven Brignac, Stacey Fabre, Dr. Marci Fabre, Stephanie Van Lue, Holli Armstrong, Jeff Fabre and Travis Fabre; great-grandchildren: Dayne and Dylan Armstrong, Peyton, Noah and Abigail Van Lue, Evangeline and Adelaide Fabre, Ethan Fabre. Doris was preceded in death by her husband: Hubert J. Fabre; parents: John J.&Lydia Gautreaux Spillman; and her brother: Garney Spillman. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East is in charge of arrangements.
