Dorothy Louise Price O'Neal

It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy Louise Price O'Neal announces her passing on Monday, June 6, 2016. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Rabcnhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, with Dr. Kevin Hand officiating. Burial will be at Green oaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, LA, following the services. The family requests that visitation be observed from 11:00 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. O'Neal, 86, of Alexandria, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. O'Neal was retired from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #198 in Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dudley R. O'Neal; parents, Dwight and Vera Ratcliff Price; and brother, Bob Price. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bill Wilhite; son, Don T. O'Neal and wife Sharlott; grandchildren, Kathie (David) Cranford, Scott (Claire) O'Neal, Holly (Mark) Mertens, Amye (Chad) Mason; great grandchildren, William, Michael, Emma, Alexander and Sara Mason; Caroline, John Caleb and Peter Cranford; Meredith, Margaret, and Mark Kyle Mertens; Kate and Andrew O'Neal; extended family, Nancy Gwinn, Susan Wilhite and Terri Engcr; siblings, Emilie Dickcrson, Jon Price and Ruth Ann O'Conner. Those honored to be pallbearers are Jay Lindscy, Don Price, Ralph Price, Scott O'Neal, Jon Price and James Soilcau. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Institute.
